Signature Kitchen Suite MANTLE Complement for undercounter convertible refrigerator

Mantle is a free-standing storage unit with a distinctive and artistic appearance, designed to hold the under-shelf convertible refrigerator, suitable for placement in various domestic settings such as the living room, bedroom and bathroom, but also in more public environments such as offices.‎
Mantle, designed by Studio Urquiola, features an exclusive covering in Cimento tiles, a revolutionary cementitious compound obtained from natural components, which personalise the refrigerator with a repetition of shapes, creating a design that evolves into a sculptural visual texture.‎

Designed with a modular approach, Mantle is available in three variants that make it suitable for different uses, and in different colours: Vanilla, Blue, Burgundy, Green.‎

Mantle adapts to increasingly fluid spaces, where the boundary between the living room and the kitchen disappears.‎ Urquiola's intention is to transform the appliance into a real piece of furniture, integrating the technology of Signature Kitchen Suite within a material cabinet, with sculptural shapes and pervaded by a handcrafted touch.‎

The Mantle cabinet is available in three modularities:

• Base Module
  The composition of the cabinet in its most basic version wraps around the undercounter convertible refrigerator, maintaining the smallest dimensions for a more versatile positioning.‎
• Vertical Module
  The composition of the cabinet in its vertical version includes, in addition to the space for the undercounter convertible refrigerator, additional storage elements developed vertically, which transform this cabinet, thanks to a sculptural visual texture, into a modern totem.‎
• Horizontal Module
  The composition of the cabinet in the horizontal version includes, in addition to the space for the undercounter convertible refrigerator, two additional storage drawers.‎ Its horizontal development offers maximum storage space, making it a versatile design object.‎
