Flexform, Made in Italy furniture since 1959
The Galimberti family has been at the helm of Flexform since its foundation. The company was initially established as a small workshop, where sofas and upholstery are produced for the furnishings of Milanese palaces and villas on Lake Como. After just a few years, the transition from artisan to industrial production is already essential: Flexform becomes a S. p. a. and starts exporting first to Europe, then all over the world, his contemporary, comfortable and entirely Made in Italy collections. In 2001, Flexform Mood was born, a unique collection of precious and exclusive furniture, in which a fine craftsmanship is updated with the deco and retro style. Suitable for both the domestic and contract sectors, Flexform Mood is eclectic and combines classicism and contemporaneity. Proportions, fabrics, materials, finishes, colors make up a balanced and sophisticated cosmopolitan style of great classic elegance. The first collection of the Flexform Mood brand bears the signature of John Hutton, who was its artistic director until 2005. At the head of the brand today we find Roberto Lazzeroni who has created families of products with a strong and defined character. The company has always collaborated with the best designers on the Italian scene: Cini Boeri, Joe Colombo, Paolo Nava,

For about 40 years, however, it has been the architect Antonio Citterio who has been coordinating the Flexform collections and contributing to the realization of the company's values in objects. Architect, director, deus ex machina, is the designer who has given a soul to the product, dialoguing with the enlightened client of the company in a continuous synergic path of exchange and sharing.
